Food Pantry
Our Food Pantry is open the 1st Wednesday of each month from 4-6pm, with an easy drive up, stay in your car, check in and we put the food right into your trunk/trunk space. We are happy to help and serve this community with suppling not only shelf stable food items, but also, cleaning, hygiene, and baby items also.
We are a 100% donations and volunteer ministry. This means that our Food Pantry is run by volunteers and that 100% of the items we are giving came to us in some form of donation.
If you would like to learn more about volunteering with the Food pantry please click the contact now button. Include you name and a good way to contact you back as well as how you would like to help.

Food Pantry
Our next Distribution Date:
Wednesday, April 4th; 4-6pm
Our Food Pantry has undergone many changes since its inception - and it continues to change, both in growth and in the needs of those we serve. Most recently inflation has made both a dramatic and severe impact on its operation. The number of families seeking help has also increased. We continue to try new ways to meet these challenges.
We have made an even easier way to donate to the pantry. We have set up a registry with Amazon showing a list of foods that are needed and the amount of each item. Just as with a bridal or baby shower you may purchase what you want and as much as you want, and the items will be shipped directly to us. Your name and credit card information will not appear anywhere. We will place a flyer with a QR Code regarding this information in the bulletin, the newsletter and on the pantry door.
We hope this will be more convenient for your shopping needs to help the pantry. As always, monetary donations may still be made to the Food Pantry Fund and will be used to buy those items that we are not able to get from Amazon.
As the Lord continues to make changes in our Christian lives we continue to try to serve Him better.
In Him,
Angie and Beverly
Thank you for your partnership in supporting this ministry!

Card Outreach Ministry
The Wallburg Baptist Church Card Ministry was formed as a way to reach out to members and friends to let them know they are in our hearts and prayers. We will be meeting Monday, April 6th, in the Fellowship Hall. We send approximately 100 cards to sick, shut-ins, those suffering loss or bereavement, and to those who are away from home due to college, military, or mission services. We remember those who are celebrating birthdays or other happy events as well.
Currently the group is made up of Angie Coe, Betty Burns, Carol Tilley, Martha Jenkins, Penny Bennett, Wanda Kearney, and Linda Fountain, we occasionally have others drop in to help. We enjoy picking cards for each person, and have a fun time being with each other. We are supported by a church budgeted fund as well as designated donations. Sometimes we have a table at the Fall Bazaar to raise funds. We have also been blessed with contributions of cards, stamps, and other items, which we greatly appreciate.
If you would like to request for a card to be sent please contact Angie Coe (angeladcoe@gmail.com/336-646-4494) or click the connect now button and include your name, the person's name whom you wish to have the card sent to, their address, and the reason for the card request. Also include if you would like this to be a one time send or would like them to receive a monthly inspirational card. Thank you for all the donations to the card ministry.
